Well, how do we know if we are eating "dirty"? Simply ask yourself - do you feel bloated, frequent sugar cravings and crashes or do you often say your stomach is "upset"?

Well, you might be causing some "dirty" issues based on your food selections.

Clean eating is described as a lifestyle. It is nothing necessarily new, according to this article the term originated around the 1960’s to make people aware of the hazards of eating processed food.

Clean eating means that you are conscious about what you are eating and how it affects your body. This lifestyle encourages you to eliminate processed foods and foods with more than 3 ingredients. It encourages you to eat healthy fats and to stay away from the dirty dozen produce list.

In summary - Forget about fried food, remember to drink plenty of water and exercise a lot.

In the Caribbean, if you have a “cross-fit” or exercise obsessed friend they might know a thing or two about clean eating.
