Fair Trade

This label is related to whether the manufacturers of a particular project have considered labor conditions and local economic realities in their business operations. Most importantly manufacturers which claim that their product is “Fair trade” have adhered and maybe gone beyond standards to ensure that they pay fair prices for their source materials. In the Caribbean, you may see fair trade coffee, tea and soaps most often.
