Economic Recession. Financial Depression. Societal Oppression.

Diabetes. Cancer. Asthma. Obesity. Heart Disease. Stress. Dengue. Chick-V. Zika.

Climate Change. Pollution. Natural Resource Loss. Ecosystem Degradation.

Water Shortages. Flooding. Energy Costs. Changing Coastlines. Food Insecurity.

Black Swan Storms. 100-year Hurricanes. Natural Disasters. Technological Disasters.

Fragility. Value. Pride. Legacy. Strength Together. Support Ourselves.

Caribbean Life

Some of us are rushing, hustling and trying to make an honest dollar in a highly competitive climate.

Some of us are easy-going, laid back and are steadily enjoying the beauty of the Caribbean.

We say "Whatever happens..happens."

Most of us fall somewhere in between - we are living, getting knocked down, getting back up and trying to stay faithful to the idea that our work will be worth it, and finally we can enjoy living in this beautiful place we call home.

There is a high likelihood that you know at least 5 people who have a “job” but they have started some side business, hustle, a way to make ends meet. We can be industrious and creative people. We are good at starting businesses but how can we become better at making sure our businesses survive, adapt and thrive – and make sure that what we do is valued by the general public?

Then, let us not forget realities like the devaluation of our quality of life, continuous increases in our cost of living and then there is the reality of climate change. How are we going to figure out how to adapt to all of this stress?

This is what the Better Caribbean Program is all about.
