****Update Feel Better Campaign for World Environment Month****
It must be the food we eat. The earth has weight.
We Facebooked, we shared, we Snapped, we Periscoped, we went on the radio and we hope that you've considered how your food choices influence both your environment and your health. We did our first campaign with a focus on food because we are 100% sure that without the right food fuel none of the work we are trying to do would be efficient. We need to sustain a healthy state of being in order to sustain anything else we are doing. We need you to be at your healthiest and best in order to continue to mobilize a collective vision of a Better Caribbean.
Goodness grief we need the energy - the task of shifting consumer choices towards products and technologies which are sustainable, healthy, non-hazardous and resilient is not a walk in the park.
For us to create more solutions than problems it is still heavy lifting for now but with your help we hope to change that.
For our Feel Better Campaign we partnered with 5 Campaign partners ~
The Good Life Restaurant and Lounge***Light Body Wholistic Clinic***Renentet - Food for the Gods
Lion's Share Cafe***Punchline Juice Bar Barbados. #feelbetter #bettercaribbean
For more on each business and how you can reach them directly - stay tuned to our Better Caribbean Facebook page or you can view our Feel Better Campaign photo album here.
Your better is different than my better but based on our research and some of the articles we've shared during our campaign - just one plant-based meal per week can make a difference regardless of your health issues or goals. It can even improve your mood and your ability to deal with whatever chaos the world brings your way.
Don't take our word, just try it for yourself and let us know how it goes :).
We ask for your support by giving us feedback on how your trial with one plant-based meal per week goes by answering these 3 questions
or by simply tagging your social media post with the hashtags #feelbetter #bettercaribbean
In the video below - More on how each campaign business partner is reducing their environmental footprint while offering culturally relevant food options. By supporting them, you can also reduce your environmental footprint.
Everybody needs to eat right?
So, exercise your consumer power for a good cause - our environment and your health.
